While having a recent problem with my computer I somehow got into my bios and changed the "Boot sequence" for one of the drives and now whenever I start my comp up it says something like CLIENT MAC address xx xx xxx xxx
and then DHCP and just dot dot dot dot dot until I hit escape and then it says

"Network boot canceled on keystroke" and then proceeds to start my computer normally.

I'm wondering what did I do, there doesn't seem to be any problem with my computer except that it's rather annoying having to hit escape everytime I turn on my computer.

Thanks!

i think you can reset all bios settings to default. if not you can try installing the latest bios version on your computer. the settings should be reset then.

BIOS Settings, and then look for things like. CHECK LAN PORT. or CHECK LAN.

I suggest, you look into mobo manual and choose which option is better / easier for you.

you switched to network boot. it depends on bios on how to fix it but you can always just default your settings in the bios.

remove the battery on the motherboard to reset bios to default. otherwise change the boot sequence from network to cd/dvd
