In my opinion, this laptop would be great ONLY for work. Also bear in mind of incompatibilities of Xp and Mac software.

It's expensive, and any software you buy to create/edit photos or do large media projects will also be expensive.

Unless of course you find other ways to get the software. ;)

I own a macbook and am on it 99% of the time as opposed to my desktop. It's the best notebook I've ever owned.

I concur, I use my macbook pro for everything except playing video games online (which I rarely do nowadays).

If you're going to buy a laptop, it better be a MacBook. Definitely the best notebook solution at this point in time.

Im new with macs. Im mostly going to use for video editing. The only thing is that not all programs work on them. Ill guess ill just make an xp partition

Why would you bootcamp? It defeats the purpose of buying an Apple computer. To be honest almost every major program for Windows has a version for OS X, especially for video editing...

Just for info, I have noticed that all adobe products 5-25% bigger in size compared to the same products but for windows.
