Right so I've been a TF2 VIP on EA for about a month.
As far as the forum goes, the majority of people on it are the stereotypical template for hacking community kids. People here are the kind that actually like CSS/whatever "frag" videos(with some angsty song in the background). One section of the community has been dubbed more stupid than the rest(due to being a non-English speaker or making some dumb post) and has been cordoned off into its own subsection, as the staff see fit. The mood when posting is really that even if you know you're smarter than the typical user you've got to make sure you don't say anything that would offend what the staff subjectively view as intelligent(though when you look through who has 5 stars and how they post, this is a bit of a mystery). It's really just not a pleasure reading it too often for anything other than news -- as when everything is going fine for someone they've got no reason to post, having issues tends to be the biggest prompt.
In regards to the hack: when it's newly released/updated, it works great. I'm a "legitimate" player myself(see: I try not to be blatant) and it meets every need I could think of. As a user it's definitely visible that certain games on EA's list get more attention, with CSS being their focus. Parts of the TF2 hack have become dysfunctional over the course of this month, with a quick patch released to fix aimbot issues when a TF2 patch broke that. So, the important parts: ESP/wallhack/aimbot still work. I'd guess the TF2 developer for EA doesn't want to waste time completely fixing the issues with the hack at present(misc. features like autobackstab/autodisguise have issues where there were none before) as he's working on a newer codebase in beta right now. This'll be released "soon"(if he intends to fix /all/ the beta bugs prior to allowing us regulars to use it I can't imagine it being too soon, that's a large workload for a one-man team) and will replace whatever we have available now. One thing's definite: being happy with your membership at EA is very dependent on your patience. "Patience is a virtue."
All this being said, EA is pretty much the best offer out there in terms of what you receive for the price. With the effort the staff put into making its userbase intelligent, I can't imagine places where idiots are catered to being any better.
