Hi everyone,

Im from India , and ive been playin CS:S since the beta came out ( think emporio leak in 2004) so its been a long time.There was a time when there were good players in my country.But lately there are so many hackers in our servers its not even funny.Just today we caught this guy using ea.

So...my question is.. What do you get out of buying and using hacks?
Jesus,are all of you 12 or sumthing and want to increase the size of ur e-penor?

Srsly its sad seeing the state of gaming nowadays cuz a bunch of nubs want to ruin the experience for the rest.

at least one decent reply without insinuating that im mad ( lol ) or a paki etc etc. Im not mad,i just wanted to know what compels people to hack.And no,when people hack in our servers,i dont scream and/or rage ( like some funny youtube videos.those are funny) .We just ban them,add them to the steam bans list and publicly shame them. Thing is there are enough good players with really good skills ;but seeing other people hack,they are getting compelled to buy hacks just to be one up on other people.

Im just saying that between paying money to play illegitimately , or pwnin a person who you knw walls/or has ea and stuff is infinitely more satisfying.

p.s - A friend of mine is making a video of some good indian legit players.Ill post it when its done.

I find most people often cheat becuase they enjoy raging others, or have grown tired of the game and use hacks to keep interest in the game. Some use it to better there advantage of winning in game of course but I'd say the general hacking community does this for those two reasons above imo.

You're reading far too much into it.

Why do people hack? Because they can. Quite simple as that, really. At the end of the day, it's an entertainment product and different people have different ways of obtaining such entertainment. Whether or not others approve of their ways and means is another thing. It's about perception, really. You feel violated by hackers/cheaters, others usually just hack, have fun and then do something else.

Not saying you're wrong or that everyone should hack - just that, everyone is free to do whatever they want. Atleast, in this regard anyway.

Anyway, CS-S is the worst example if you want to showcase legit gameplay. It's one of the most cheater riddled games out there. Not to mention, most professional/high-skill players rate it a notch below 1.6; as it rightfully is.

CS 1.6's xqR was quite good in Asia, though. Good times.

So you should only play with locals. Because there are 100% legit cheaters (don't start raging on pubs or when they get owned) who really can play legit. You can not detect them. The best example is your video. As you know, that this is without any hacks - I swear you, I can do the same with EnhancedAim without any shakes (as some guys said: triggerbot).

You can only detect cheaters:
1) They can't play the game very well and because of this they use non-legit settings to compensate their bad skill.
2) They are new with hacks and don't know how to setup and how to play with the hack (best example: looking ESP boxes trough walls).
3) The cheater is not interested that guys could call him a cheater, because he just plays for fun - maybe with a seperate steam-account or other reasons.

Now the main answer: There are many reasons to cheat. But in the end it's mostly the same: To get better? No, to BE better. My reason: I don't want to play 24/7, but when I play, I want to have fun. And it's not fun to have bad scores or getting owned by other cheaters. Accept or not - it's never your selection.
