Who got detected?

There was an actual message of detection, or are you simply implying that the number should be changed because of the VAC bans that occurred?

I'm just saying, and this maybe semantics here, but getting banned does not necessarily mean detected.

You can make a point that Valve, through nefarious means, figured a way to catch people running the hack, but as far as I know I have not seen any threads here where someone has provided proof that they were playing the game while hacking and VAC detected their shit and banned them.
