about maps

before i turned cl_download filter none on i would automatically download a new map if i didnt have it, and now it wont download any if i dont have it, so my question is this, is cl_downloadfilter none the reason? and if it is what do i type to go back to the way b4?

cl_downloadfilter all or cl_downloadfilter nosounds

even when i put that in it say couldn't CRC missing map blah blah blah.BSP. but i know i have the bsp...
