Project Aurora
We are proud to officially announce Project Aurora. In the last newsletter, I have mentioned a new project we have been working on specifically designed to handle VAC2. We have codenamed this project Aurora. Aurora is a kernel mode device driver (ring0) that is specifically developed to handle VAC2. Aurora will intercept VAC2 and render it's scans useless thus leading to a safe playing environment. VAC2 has no ability to scan within kernel mode(ring0), so Project Aurora will be safe from all internal scans.
Enhancedaim hacks have never been detected by VAC2 in the following games:
Day of Defeat
Day of Defeat Source
Counter Strike 1.6
Counter Strike Condition Zero
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead
We have only experienced detections in Counter Strike Source. We experienced detections in April/May 2008 and January 2010. Aside from those two detection periods we have stayed undetected and safe.
Despite Enhanced Aim having the safest record in the user mode hack industry, we have begun developing Aurora just to insure a greater degree of safety and peace of mind for our customers.
Aurora development is coming along quite well. We are a few days away from performing Alpha testing. The process is quite tedious, but we are working extremely hard to release Project Aurora as soon as possible.
We hope to have the project released quite soon.
Promotional Pricing
Because of the announcement of Project Aurora, we have decided to offer a promotional pricing period. Bronze and Silver plans have been cut by 50%. Never before has Enhanced Aim services been at this low of a price. Please take advantage of this pricing as the promotional period is not going to last.
Bronze plan is priced at $9.99 for one full month of access
Silver plan is priced at $24.99 for four full months of access

That's cheaper then the price per month as in the gold-pass (8,..$/month for one year) - fucking cheap!

this might have been asked and answered already but i couldnt find.
is this replacing the current hack ? or do u "add" this to the other ?
how is this different to the current V3 cheat besides the security?
is it exact same WH/aimbot etc, just more secure?
ppl with lets say 3 months left of EA, will they swap to the new hack or how does this work?

This is a security module that gets loaded prior to loading the current line of software. Nothing changes with the current line of software.
The device driver will be added to H.I.V and every EA user(except users with a 64 bit O/S) will have access to it.

Any time you buy for a subscription will be addd to the current time.
It is the same great hack just with new security
Yes
I don't get the final question. Project aurora isn't a new hack, its a new security feature that intercepts vac scans and renders them useless.

Better safe than sorry.
The reason being is because I believe the new content distributor was built from the ground up and the old band A.I.D.S will not work. (Correct me if I'm wrong I haven't had the opportunity to use band aids)
They are working on Valkyrie though and it's soon to be in alpha testing. All seems to be going well.

i think band aids is just not secure enough for project Valkyrie.
any idea of aurora having a chance of bypassing any league anti-cheats?
tohellwithyou
03-14-2010, 07:51 PM
@ vurt
Aurora itself will not bypass any league cheats, this is the reason for Project Valkyrie, which is meant to bypass anti-cheat systems such as ECO/XPL/CEVO etc. Aurora is just to assure vac 2 security
Only lifetime users of EA will have access to Project Valkyrie and there is no ETA of when lifetime will be available.
@Paradox
i believe Valkyrie is already in alpha testing and soon to be finished to go through beta testing

Valkyrie is no longer available. So EA don't support leagues. It's secure for VAC2 and PunkBuster.

Cyrus, I read somewhere that there are ways to bypass PatchGuard. Isn't it possible to bring Aurora to x64 aswell?
The ways to bypass PatchGuard are experimental and render the system quite unstable.
Microsoft is extremely good with dealing with loop holes in Patchguard, so it will be a constant battle.
There is no way to bypass PatchGuard on end-user PCs, but only on your own, where you have control about updates and may hide all future PatchGuard related ones, for example! The Symantec Showcase, how I like to call it, has proven that you only can rely on documented things, especially when dealing with the kernel. Like Microsoft said to Symantec, that they will release an update, BSODing related PCs, if Symantec puts PatchGuard bypassing code into their products, I am saying to you: Don’t ever release a PatchGuard bypassing or 64-Bit undocumented kernel hooking product to customers! An option may be the PatchGuard API, but I think it is not publicly available. BTW I disagree to Symantec’s opinion that they need to use undocumented kernel patching to develop security products. The only thing is that they already had such products and it would be very expensive for them to reinvent the wheel, by not using kernel patching. Microsoft just did the right thing by not listening to Symantec. Undocumented kernel patching can never be an option to raise security in a trusted environment like Vista 64-Bit. It will probably even lower security AND stability. It is Microsoft’s duty to protect the kernel against malware and this will already work very well with UAC, enforced driver signing (it really was a burden to get my test driver installed the first time, so I think the kernel security performs quite well) and PatchGuard. The story that “malware is able to bypass PatchGuard” is something strange. I never saw a signed virus. And even if so, there is no way to do something against it if malware already is in the kernel. In this case you just lost the fight. Malware instead should NEVER get into the kernel; this is what security software should care about and not some kind of unstable, undocumented and also unsafe or even useless Post-Mortem-Security.

Wait, why wouldn't they let new customers use the thing that makes their hack safe???
Doesn't that mean you could just go use some Pub hack?
Or am I misunderstanding what Valkyrie is for?
I thought Valkyrie would make it safe for us to play in ALL css servers. Even those that have league protection.
Will they allow us to pay extra for it? cause I think that is slightly unfair...

u are misunderstanding. Valkyrie is for League protection. The regular CSS hack is already made to bypass VAC so no need to worry. Valkyrie is only for the people that wanna do leagues also so as to not get banned by just using the CSS hack flatout. Valkyrie is pretty much a bypass for another bypass.
also you dont want just random people getting ahold of Valkyrie. you have to have security measures so things dont happen to it.
