It's just a Testvideo! No sick editing or something.. just a slowmo-test.

In my opinion record at higher fps and add frame blending if you're using after effects, but overall pretty nice.

lulzz..I thought you just went through the tutorials they had on their site and made the intro the exact same as they did on the site..I guess you didn't, and came up with affects on your own.. :D
jlock339 - They have a product called Action Essentials 2 that has those affects.

Nice movie, Aimbot looks good.
In terms of slow motion, for a really smooth clip you should use a host_framerate of 300 or more. Unless your using fraps, then i'd suggest changing to a movie config and recording properly.

Thanks so far for the much feedback, that makes me happy! I notice it, that the slowmotion (particularly the last frag) is not that smooth I want to. In this video I don't used any Movie-CFGs. I am always recording my wars so I can use a other Steamaccount for recording with Fraps from the Demo. Normally I use 30fps - for that slowmotion stuff I took 60fps. Maybe I have to try more? 100fps enough? I don't own Adobe AfterEffect.

I don't understand  Why should I have a special edition?

Just use source recorder and you can record at 120 fps and it will be very clean slow motion.

You should use 240fps. It'll be a lot smoother then 120fps. You can actually go up to whatever you want, I've seen people who use 1000fps, but only for when they're REALLY slowing it down.
240fps is good for most things though.

Lmao yeah 1000 fps would be beast but would probably take a whole day to record a tiny clip with my bad computer.

Plus unless you have an external 1tb HDD or something, you wont have enough space.
I've actually once tried 600fps, I actually prefer the motion blur that 240fps gives to the kind 600fps does. As I said, I think that unless you're majorly slowing down footage, 240fps is fine.

Record at a minimum of 240fps. Do it with virtual dub. You should be rendering at 30fps not recording at it haha

Yes, of course ;)
What about host_framerate? Only interesting for makeing AVI's with the SourceRecorder, right?

Thanks a lot! I read so much about Videomaking now, that I have to decide, how professional I want to do it. Because it can be a never-end-story.
