Format Prob

So i formatted my pc and i got xp all fine installed itunes ready for when i get my iPod but i cant see my external hd its pluged in but i see a d driver (its normally f) and i try to open it but it says:

goto my computer right click it and choose manage. In the manage screen choose disk management. Find you wxternal drive right click and choose change drive letter and path. push the change button. pick another drive letter. Hope this helps.
