Nothing funny about that shit, griefing in a video game to piss off hardcore gamers is one thing, but fucking up someone's personal health is a crime and you could very easily be charged with assault with intent to cause severe bodily harm (varies per state) if they could prove the attack came from your internet connection.

As a premedical student and someone who is currently doing research on epileptic seizures with possible cures... this is not funny at all. Seizures destroy brain cells, resulting in permanent brain damage. The inflammation that is caused by it leads to hypertrophy of glial cells and astrocytes that also is believed to lead to cell rupture as a result - all of which is irreversible and which is believed to further result in more occurrences of seizures.

How would you feel if someone decided to take a stirring rod to your brain and just mash it all up and start laughing?

not to mention it fucking hurts

Definitely a criminal offense that would have one serving jail time and sued like no other for the obvious cause of much pain, suffering, and irreversible damage

School shooting in my opinion are worse than attacks on the internet. But ya know... you're right. Myg0t is probably a bunch of angels trying to improve the the world one rage at a time.

I know what the possible rebuttles are to my statement above... things like "uhhh if you think that movie isnt a joke then youre exactly like the dumb fuck in it" or some other bullshit. The fact of the matter is that I think many of these social pariahs are created through the actions of myg0t and others like them. By creating a community based on hating, raging and hurting others you amplify any problem any individual who visits your site might have. Many don't have the confidence or stability most of us do... I know when I was a kid I was really easily upset. These people don't need to be pushed to the edge, or they might take a couple of us with them.

Like I said before, I don't support the actions of the kids that attacked that website... but I don't think they deserve to go to jail for their actions. The internet is a risky place filled with pornography and viruses. If you have a disability that can be triggered by the ignorance of someone else... you should realize that the home of the ignorant, the internet, might not be the place for you.
